You may reserve a Digital Media Production Studio (E2.400) workstation in advance for 3D printing and creative project software usage. This room is not available for general study reservations and anyone doing so must yield the space to anyone requiring the usage of specific computer programs and the 3D printer.
Each workstation can be reserved for up to 8 hours per day. You may continue to use the workstations if no other reservation exists.
These rules are different than our Group Study Room policies because of the average time involved in printing, editing, and recording content.
When the 3D printer is being reserved, there will be noise in the room, which may inhibit recording vs. editing.
Please provide any feedback about this process to Libwebmaster@utsouthwestern.edu so we can better serve.
